- Ensure that safety is the number 1 priority in all that we do on site.
- Manage the regulatory compliance of works on site to ensure all HSE legislation and procedures are in place and the site is compliant.
- Review plans and schedules / upcoming works and advise on the management of risk and good practice in the carrying out of duties.
- Monitor and communicate any potential hazards on site and follow through on their resolution.
- Prepare the monthly HSE statistics and report out on leading and lagging indicators.
- Chair and minute the weekly and monthly safety committee meetings and ensure these are retained.
- Monitor the safety performance of the site.
- Lead safety walks and weekly inspections.
- Ensure the site is secure and members of the public, client staff and third parties are not placed at risk.
- Run Safety forum and other meetings engaging all stakeholders.
- Ensure that Incidents are fully investigated with lessons learned shared.
- Provide H&S training and deliver Tool Box Talks.
